Johnston2010-03-17 12:20My name is Maddie Johnston and I have been riding with Allison for almost six months now. I started out riding with her as a member of the WWU equestrian team, and through the mediocrity of the riding on the team, Allison's training and passion for horses truly shined through. Being an english rider, you could wonder, "how is cow horse and riding at coastal equine helping you"? The truth is, riding and taking lessons with Allison has improved my english, and my knowledge of horses by leaps and bounds. I strongly recommend to anyone who has the time to participate in the horseworks program. it is extremely informational and applicable no matter what type of riding you do. To top it all off, Allison and her staff are genuinely fun to be around, and I always have a good time when I am at the barn. So thank you Allison, for being such a greater trainer!
+1#7Valarie Richey2010-02-26 10:59I have been waiting for a long time to find the perfect horse. I am a little older and not as brave as I used to be. I really wanted a kind quiet horse that had athletic ability as well. I love reining and have always wanted to try cutting. Until I met Stetson I didn't think I would ever find that perfect combination. Joey babies are kind, quiet, trainable but superbly athletic and capable. I am really grateful that I have had this opportunity and I am really excited for what the future holds for me and Stetson!

She has challenged me to push myself beyond my self-imposed limitations and to become a better rider. My horse Gertie and I have grown together as a team and are really having so much fun learning to work cattle. Allison has done so much to help me. The most important thing she did was help me get the right fitting saddle for me and my horse. This has helped me immensely. She encouraged me to board my horse for a few weeks before the cowhorse show so I could ride more, she loaned me equipment that I didn't have, and has continued to be supportive throughout. I look forward to furthering my skills, using the great new learning tool in the member site by being able to watch my rides and learn from them. I'm excited for what's ahead this coming year! Thanks, Allison!
0#5Karen Pickering2009-09-15 16:56April and I had the privilege getting started with Allison last fall. The amount of improvement in a short amount of time with April was amazing. She also has a unique approach to training which makes learning to ride competitively fun and something to always look forward to. She is a talented rider as well as trainer and has the background to be a great teacher. She breaks down the lessons into easy-to-understand sessions and I've always come away feeling like I got more than my money's worth. I would highly recommend Allison's program whether you're looking to ride competitively or just want to improve your horsemanship skills. Her new website is very nice, educational and a great place to get information 24/7!
+1#4Madeline Zender2009-09-15 08:16My name is Madeline Zender and I have been riding with Allison since last September. Allison’s program is excellent and while Allison focuses mostly on reining and cow horse events, the skills I have gained by riding with her have helped me to become a better rider and show more effectively in equitation and pleasure classes. This website is very exciting for me personally because it is so cost effective! I am a twenty year old “starving” college student and this website has given me valuable training and riding advice for a fraction of cost, the ten percent discount also helps! Thanks Allison!
0#3Rachel Logan2009-09-14 01:55My name is Rachel and i've been riding with Allison for about a year and a half now. I've had so much fun and learned more than ever! I really found something i love to do without the pressure of not messing up or not getting a good score in my runs. In stead of focusing on how well i did this past show season i would watch my very first class and than my most recent and be like "Woah! that was a huge difference in how well i rode!" showing with Allison has been exciting, fun, relaxing and a great learning experience! I can't wait till im going down the fence next year!!
